I was just reading through some of my tweets on twitter and people keep posting about the game currently going on between Isner and Mahut.
They've been playing for almost 10 hours and still counting.
At this moment, they are both locked in the epic 6–4, 3–6, 6–7(7), 7–6(3), 57–57 (in progress) stand-off.

That's insane!

Wikipedia is quick off the mark:
The match is officially the longest match ever in a Tennis Open in terms of both times and games[2] lasting 154 games and over 9 hours and 20 mins (in progress) beating the previous record set by (respectively) Pancho Gonzales defeating Charlie Pasarell in 112 games in 1969 at Wimbledon in the first round, as well as the Fabrice Santoro and Arnaud Clement (both French) match at the 2004 French Open which lasted 6 hours, 33 mins.

Even the score board lost it, it stopped adding on points when both players reached 47. The scoreboard was then shut off for the remainder of the match.

Nicolas Mahut FRA 4 6 79 63 68

John Isner USA (23) 6 3 67 77 70

Just to complete the score
I still think it's insane!
