Download Audacity, it's free. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Get a mic, and put it into your computer.

Hit the big red record button.

Stop recording.

Save it as a .wav and use that as the file you want to upload.

Actually the instructions Dave put up are very easy to follow, it is how to upload my voice onto my computer I am having a problem with

I know ... absolutely techi challenged, a hopeless case :rolleyes: ... but I'm a knockout in the kitchen ... and I bake from scratch! http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/ukus/shiny.gif

You'll have to give us a chance to taste some cookies or something the next time you make them then ;)
As for recording yourself on your computer just launch an audio recording program - I like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) because it's really easy to use but still has a lot of functions and it's free to download and use - and just click the Record button and start talking into your microphone. After you're done talking click Stop and save the recording you just made into an .mp3 or .wav file and then just follow Dave's instructions to upload it to the internet and paste a link here.
