How did you cope without FC?

How did you cope without fc for a few days?


Well as you all know Friendscircle went down in the early hours of sunday morning and was down until today, so how did you cope?

I know I found it hard, so used to logging on to forum, also if you include the friendship forum and fc together, this is the longest I know the forum to be down, remember when ff close down, fc was born the next day, so we didn't really have a break, it was hard for us, and to make things worst, we lost our internet yesterday, due to a fault by bt :rolleyes: we also lost our telephone number, which resulted in our internet been cut off, I just carry on with some computers I am building up to sell.

I had to lose myself in some pretty awful games to pass the time.

At least you had some contact, I had to put up with myspace, it like chatting to a brick wall, it so dull on there, that it make teletext look really interesting :unsure:

I coped fine (it was one less forum to check!). Real life is kinda busy, that it is literally a quick check of email, quick squizz of the various forums I am on and on my way. Thank God I am a fast typer! Off to dog walking now and then grocery shopping then ironing then OU work (assignment due)!

But I have been in a position of suffering withdrawal when a forum goes down so I sympathise with you all!

FC was down? Thank god - I just thought I'd been banned.

I coped pretty well because I'm in the middle of a really busy week anyway. :) I'm glad we're back now though :)

Hahaha, you know what, I thought the same thing... "did I say something wrong?" :lol: I started to get worried after a while about what was going on. I don't like using facebook because I don't like that everyone can look up my full name and find out everything about me, but in this case it would probably have been a good thing. So, what did I do? Spent much too much time on a dating site, and chatted to a lot of weird people on there :lol:

Was checking mutiple times a day if it was on. Thought I lost fc again for sure there. Was getting worried. :unsure:

I just hung around myspace and was fixing up my page I hadn't updated in forever.

And I cancelled my home subscription to the internet since its summer and I can walk to the computer lab now. It has a lot better computers then mine. Mine is really old and couldn't get to places like myspace even if I tried.

How does one change their profile to private on Facebook? I just for the life of find the function to do it.

Privacy option then profile then it will give a series of drop down menus and you decide who should see what!

Lol.. first thought that SA was banned again.. same as FF a long time back. Then because we have so many power failures here, thought it from our side.
